I tested the same with linux-image-2.6.31-02063112-generic_2.6.31-02063112_i386.deb from http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v2.6.31.12/
Transfer died after uploading only 618 MB, on 15:47:50 aprox. This is what syslog was showing then and short after: Mar 29 15:42:17 flik-laptop wpa_supplicant[970]: CTRL-EVENT-SCAN-RESULTS Mar 29 15:44:17 flik-laptop wpa_supplicant[970]: CTRL-EVENT-SCAN-RESULTS Mar 29 15:46:17 flik-laptop wpa_supplicant[970]: CTRL-EVENT-SCAN-RESULTS Mar 29 15:48:12 flik-laptop wpa_supplicant[970]: CTRL-EVENT-SCAN-RESULTS Mar 29 15:48:12 flik-laptop kernel: [ 1104.008161] iwl3945 0000:0c:00.0: Error sending REPLY_SCAN_CMD: time out after 500ms. By the way, does it have value to test with kernels from http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline ? If so, I could go ahead and put my life at risk by testing with http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v2.6.32.9/ and http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v2.6.33/ for the sake of humankind freedom. -- [Jaunty] Intel wireless 3945ABG is unstable and disconnects frequently https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/348204 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
