I'd been looking at the different steering wheel designs and noticed> http://www.rau-autowood.com/images/GT-full-wheel-blue-crop-pri.jpg I'v come up with 2 versions for the logo using the wooden wheel. Plus, using the brown would also prevent the visibility problems in the dark menus. Attaching the versions.
I also noticed that testdrive seems to only have 1 icon 64px and uses it everywhere , launchpad and in the menus. I would suggest that testdrive use the 64px icon only for launchpad and a install a 24px/22px for the testdrive menu. I had this done a few days ago , but I was kinda hoping for the ubuntu logo to be released to the public. We could use the "t" and "b" [flip the b and use it as a "d"] I was told it would be within this month. My main worry is that the "t" differs in the branding page. ubuntu and xubuntu have different "t" Let me know which version you prefer and i hope either you or Jcastro have access to the new ubuntu logo ;-) If we get the fonts , i can finish the icon.
