now the complete text:

I finally got the internal microphone working using Mainline kernel. (Not
tested with Ubuntu kernel). I had to go into ubuntu's sound preferences and do
the following:
- Under "Hardware":
    - the configured setting here does not care on the result

- Under "Input":
    - select "Internal Audio Analog Stereo"
    - Uncheck the "Mute" box
    - Set the input volume to a decent level (e.g. 30%)

- Under "Ouput":
    - select "Internal Audio Analog Stereo Stereo" (Not that GUI translation
shows text Stereo twice)

Strangely, as soon as a Bluetooth headset is connected, the bluetooth
microphone is used and not the PCs internal microphone.
This behaviour is independently from the Ubuntu's "Input" sound preference
setting "Internal Audio Analog Stereo" or "Nokia HS-3W (my connected Bluetooth
headset)".
