Unavailable meaning that the keys don't work - it stays on the same terminal.
Nomodeset made no difference - I'd tried that while initially debugging. Without quiet and splash, I see init-bottom run, and then the udev disk output as described in 552088. After that there's no more output. The terminal responds to shift page up / page down, and the alt sysrq keys. I've left it at that state for 90 minutes to see if it was temporarily blocked on something, but without any difference. If I run with init=/bin/bash, I see the same output, and then get a bash prompt as expected. Are you looking for anything in particular? I can't capture what's logged (AFAIK) but I can hunt through the log messages if you like. -- Lucid beta 1 won' t boot, plymouth launch broken https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/552046 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
