Hi Allan,
With the latest version of Pidgin, setting the status as Away will put a
corresponding Away icon in YM, as it is with "Do Not Disturb", the
status equivalent in YM is "Busy".
This issue has been fixed probably between 2.6.2 and 2.6.6 (which I am using to
test). I will now mark this report as Fix Released.
But in case the issue recurs, feel free to re-open it.
