hi Charlie, see post 12, i've had this issue with Lucid already installed and updated, so this kernel 2.6.33 from kernel.ubuntu.com was installed on Lucid, never talk about Hardy on my end. Just to say that this issue is not only with hardy2lucid upgrading.
