I don't think this is completely fixed yet. 1) The difference between the stages is not intuitive. Why smaller waves (1 to 2) and lighter gray levels (2 to 3) should be understood as a more advanced stage of connection?
2) The transition from 2 to 3 is very, very subtle. I'd say barely noticeable.
