I hope that the additional information I've added is helpful. The problem still exists in 10.04 beta 2 (current as of today).
The machine seems to go into sleep mode when I close the lid, but it never wakes up. On opening the lid, the fans and hard disk start up, the screen backlight illuminates, hard disk activity commences... and then nothing happens. It is unresponsive to keystrokes, the hard disk keeps accessing, and sits there in this state, unchanging, for up to several minutes. It does not respond to any keystrokes, including Ctrl-Alt-Del or the power button. The only recourse seems to be to hold down the power switch for several seconds, forcing a power-off. -- [IBM 26723G0] hibernate/resume failure https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/370935 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
