This backtrace might be related.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open the tree view in the side pane
2. Navigate to /proc/ and one of the first processes under, eg 1
3. Hit page down, space, page down, space rapidly until nautilus crashes 
(normally when you reach the end of the tree)

Looks like the problem lies within gtk and not nautilus, but I might be
wrong.
