I managed to reproduce the problem you encountered once, Marcus. I've found an easier way to reproduce my problem - that works (i.e. crashes Nautilus) almost every time for me:
Steps to reproduce: 1. Go to an empty desktop area (or empty the current one, or just minimize all windows) 2. Hold the page down button (or page up) 3.
