Hello Jeremy, I tested with kernel version 2.6.34-999 as described in the link you mentioned. Although I ran into some other problems because the nvidia driver could not be built during the kernel package install, by reading the kernel log file I could verify that the bug is still present. (See log file attached.) I also booted again with my current Ubuntu-fied kernel, which is 2.6.31-19 (also contained in the log).
