Hi. I tried to reboot after updating to see if broblem were solved, it did not help then. "sudo service cups start" fixed the problem. The computer with this issue, is @work, and I lost the option to connect to it after rebooting (using RealVNC client in user-mode) - so I do not know (yet) if the problem is permanently fixed or not. ..I guess it is not started after boot..
