I'm trying to bring up 10.04 behind a corporate proxy and it appears
that Ubuntu One is connecting to the proxy - but thinks it's the Ubuntu
One web server instead of a proxy!

i.e. a sniffer shows that instead of seeing

CONNECT https://launchpad.whatever

I see

random stuff that looks like SSL to me

...followed by a SSL error popup under Ubuntu

It is very common for corporate networks to block outbound Web and force
their users through proxies. Ubuntu won't be usable within those
environments with such a fault
