I have not undone anything, after running the three lines of commands, I
started getting great audio output, I have no system control over volume
of audio other than what is offered from Rhythmbox or VLC media player
and the volume control of the external speaker system. My system is
exactly the way it was left after the last line was completed. it still
workes fine after reboot also, something appears to have happened with
the three lines being executed, but I don't have any system control over
volume with your code. I did have a third party here that agrees with
me, the sound quality has improved greatly now AFTER your code has run,
and appears to still be in-force.
