Thank for your answer. "Participate or Community or any www.ubuntu.com will not be translated" : do you mean there won't be any www.ubuntu.com/fr/ for example? is it confirmed by Canonical ?
There is a way to fix it: As English resources are useless for non-English speakers, what about Ubuntu-start-page using LoCo website links when they exist ? (and English links by default when the localized link does not exist) For example: "Participate" has a French equivalent : http://www.ubuntu-fr.org/contribuer-ubuntu-fr "Community" has a French equivalent : http://www.ubuntu-fr.org/ "Shop" has a French equivalent : http://enventelibre.org/ubuntufr For example, if www.ubuntu-es.org/ does not have Spanish shop, we would leave the English link. What do you think about this idea? -- Firefox startpage links (Help, Participate, and Shop) not translated/localized https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/387707 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
