Got the message asking for more details.. I had to quit and move on to Fedora which installed straightaway...The start up process seems to have to flaws 1 can't deal with the older Intel video and 2...seems to read from the computer's main drive and pick up bad info from a flawed prior install,, so at one point I could get nothing started... and this even when I told the install to nuke the partition,, and even if I separately gparted the drive with a live gpart,,, again Fedora just installed on same machine...
