With GParted 0.5.1 an higher, an exclamation mark beside "unallocated" indicates that there is some problem with the partition or partition table. By double clicking on the partition with exclamation mark, a message is displayed indicating the warning message as it comes from the parted program.
The attached screen shot demonstrates how this looks, and was created using Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx. ** Attachment added: "GParted warning message for overlapping partitions" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/47884007/GParted-Overlapping-Partitions-Message.png -- gparted reports no partitions but I am using the partition now https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/445490 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
