Edit /etc/default/grub and add ”acpi_backlight=vendor” to GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX, so that it looks like this: GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX=”acpi_backlight=vendor” update your grub: sudo update-grub and restart!
