Thank you for reporting this to Ubuntu. Could you try to create a new
Firefox profile? It could be that your default profile has become
corrupt. You do not need to delete the default profile in order to test
this. You can launch the profile manager using the following command:
firefox -ProfileManager
** Changed in: firefox (Ubuntu)
Status: New => Incomplete
