Worked in Karmic so confirmed as a regression in Lucid. Desktop machine occasionally restarts after power-failure and does not automatically connect to Auto Eth0 (the only network available). After logging in an selecting the network from NM, it connects fine. /etc/network/interfaces includes "auto eth0" entry. Very irritating, as I often need to connect to the machine from off-site locations. Was not an issue in Karmic.
