I have the same issue, but with a normal account and Lucid final. Although there is no sign of open office in the System Monitor, it does show up in htop, taking 467M of virtual memory, and having used 0.51s of processor time.
It doesn't always happen, and until it happens open office works fine. Once it has happened in a session, open office will behave in the same way until a reboot has occurred. (I haven't tested if it behaves this way after a session restart). I am also using gnome-shell, currently 2.29.1+git20100517.5de1a15d- 0ubuntu1~10.04~ricotz1 Ed -- OpenOffice quits after splash screen in guest session https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/563339 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
