Sorry that Jen didn't reply regarding this bug. In fact, I am Jens
partner and I 'inherited' her desktop, meaning that now I have the same
issue.
I actually am now running lucid lynx and the card reader is still not
working. Inserting card doesn't mount any drives and nothing shows up. I
will attach updated information using apport.
