OK... this is a good printing day TYG. visiting http://www.mjmwired.net/kernel/Documentation/parport.txt to check documentation on parport_pc, tunelp no longer works in actual kernels. Added: parport_pc io=0xec00 irq=7 dma=none febore the line lp restarted pc, and now, I can print again.
