I don't have the possibility of rotating my screen, so I cannot check it myself. Try setting that key (rotation or possibly orientation) to the wished orientation: inverted, left or right. This should work as a work-around solution for the time being.
Is it a good idea for ALL users to combine the two (screen and tablet) settings? They are two separate functionalities after all. If you always use the same orientation you could make a permanent change to your xorg.conf, or launch the script at startup otherwise just manually launch the script when you change orientation. -- screen resolution: changes are not retained https://launchpad.net/bugs/93788 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
