I doubt I can get it to happen in Feisty. I cannot log into a normal
session, but only in failsafe gnome. - apparently there is a problem
with one of my start-up scripts.
Error message from xsession-errors:
/etc/gdm/PreSession/Default: Registering your session with wtmp and utmp
/etc/gdm/PreSession/Default: running: /usr/X11R6/bin/sessreg -a -w

"wolf"
/etc/gdm/Xsession: Beginning session setup...

I do not know where to look to purge //this: bad variable name
