Other applications can sometimes make sound (mostly it is the first
application which I run).
Pulseaudio doesn't seem to be running (at least `ps ax | grep pulse`
doesn't give anything).
Haven't checked yet to disable the nvidia driver. However, that is no
option as I want to use it.
