I'm having this problem also. Both my systems freeze randomly, more often when running flash. What I find particularly frustrating is that my whole system freezes. I've always praised linux for being able to recover from crashes, but now I'm having to hard reset 10-20 times a day. I've been using ubuntu on my older machine since edgy and never had problems like this before. I am actually going to have to start using windows now (haven't touched it for years). Interestingly, I have karmic still installed on one partition, and this is now freezing too, despite working perfectly until I installed lucid.
