Thank you for inquiring about the status of this ticket. It appears that this ticket is no longer valid, because the Icecast plugin no longer even works in Audacious 2.3, and research on the upstream bug tracker indicates that it has been removed due to lack of a maintainer. I tried recompiling the plugins from source, and Audacious still rejects the Icecast plugin due to an API change.
