No idea, why I did not thought of a group problem. However the output is
now identical to the one of Gentoo (see last attachement), still
corrupted. I´d say, that this is hardware-related. Do you have a nvidia-
card? If so, it would be nice, if you could test this with an ati-card,
if you have one. I´ve experienced this for about a year now and die
_never_ get the framebuffer apps to work (fbgrab, vlc). It´s still
reproducible on four different systems, but they have all amd/ati
components.

A program like fbgrab should not produce corrupted output, as it only
grabs /dev/fb0 for a moment. Maybe there is something wrong with the
kernel drivers (it does not matter, if I use vesafb, uvesafb or the kms-
driver radeondrmfb).

The vlc fb output uses 40 to 60% of the CPU, which is 20% higher than in
X or identical to decoding a HD-video in X. However my main intention is
not to view videos in the framebuffer, but to make screenshots of the
framebuffer. I just noticed the corruption, when testing other apps.

Anyway, the bug remains invalid, as it is probably caused by a kernel-
bug. (depends on your test result)
