Hi,
You are right: you have to increase the version number as the previous
one already exists in the archive.
I updated the changelog to revert changes you made to previous entry, and added
the copyright conversion.
I also reverted the maintainer change in debian/control, and documented all the
changes you did. Please remember to do so next time.
Also, for sponsorship for an update to an existing package, you need to attach
a debdiff between previous version and the one you want to get sponsored :-)
