This was fixed upstream in v5.1.47, which is available in Maverick http://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=43594
The workaround is to apply the patch from the bug report to a local copy of mysqlhotcopy (for instance, put it in ~/bin or /usr/local/bin, which will override mysqlhotcopy from /usr/bin if you have the default PATH), or manually filter out those tables from the list on the commandline using a regular expression See http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/en/mysqlhotcopy.html For details on how to do that. ** Changed in: mysql-dfsg-5.1 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Low ** Changed in: mysql-dfsg-5.1 (Ubuntu) Status: New => Fix Released ** Bug watch added: MySQL Bug System #43594 http://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=43594 ** Also affects: mysql-5.1 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: mysql-5.1 (Ubuntu) Status: New => Fix Released ** Changed in: mysql-5.1 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Low ** Changed in: mysql-dfsg-5.1 (Ubuntu) Status: Fix Released => Won't Fix -- mysqlhotcopy produces error about log tables https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/611695 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
