Fabio, sorry for the delay, I wasn't on board... I'm happy to say: the 10.04 live CD is booting on my Acer without problems. Also some basic programs are running.
For the records: it also runs on my Asus Pundit2 PC (Model: P2-M2A690G) - if it helps you or your statistics. I was a little bit disappointed that no one answered my error report - I know it was not the most dangerous problem...
