Hello norb.
don't worry, I'm a new bye here, i'm leanrning to pass at the next step that is
bug control, so it's preferable that new entry use this kind of responses, but
no one of us use automatic posters or bot, every case is readed by one person
and no one of us is payed....
The Invalid status means that there was un upgrade (in Debian or Canonical)
that fixed or the bug directly or something related, so here in Launchpad, we
cannot know what happends, only engineers of debian or canonical can do this.
So don't worry and continue helping Ubuntu reporting bugs, we need this.
Only the kernel (Linux) has already passed the million of lines (strings of
instructions), so imagine the entire system....
Our works here is to identify the source of the bug and send it to a developer.
:)Fabio
