Hey,

what about this? On lucid lynx gedit doesn't crash, but starts to massively use 
CPU.
The Embedded Terminal part of the bottom pane show's no prompt.
I changed my login shell using chsh.

For now I did as Nowaker suggested and altered the terminal.py to directly 
issue the
command bin/bash. However, if I call 'zsh' in the Embedded Terminal after gedit 
has launched, 
it just changes the shell and works properly.

How come it's unable to start with zsh as login shell but to change to
it?
