I agree with Sune. In order to get what I need done I need to use Adobe Reader on my XP virtual machine, which for me is a mild inconvenience, but I still cannot feel comfortable recommending Ubuntu to other proprietary OS users. I am a very impressed and fully converted noob of 3 months or so, but believe these basic usability issues should be addressed properly.
My problem: I am using 10.04 64-bit and am trying to be economical about printing a Python programming manual. When I try to print 4 pages per side odd or even Evince (or something else within Ubuntu) decides to print 1-4 then 9-12 etc., rather than 1,3,5,7/9,11,13,15. Does anyone have any advice on this? -- Printing mupltiple pages per side with 'odd' or 'even' setting results in strange order https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/219080 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
