Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu
better. I have a laptop that uses the ipw3945 driver and daemon and
don't have any issues with it. Could you elaborate as to what exactly
is going on and how I can reproduce this? Thanks in advance.

NetworkManager recognizes wireless ipw3945 but does not manage it
