This is debatable.  One of the issues with trying to do smarter
detection here is that, practically by definition, if you're using
rescue mode then something is broken and you're trying to recover from
it.  I don't want to try to second-guess too much the set of things that
might be wrong with your filesystem, and some of those things might
involve it being detected incorrectly.

It might be worth at least showing the detected filesystem type.
