Solution! (at least for me) I have 3 machines: a notebook, a desktop at home and another desktop at work. All running Ubuntu 10.04. The notebook and work's desktop had Facebook working OK on gwibber, but I couldn't add it in my home's desktop because of the missing Add button.
Then I noticed I didn't have my Ubuntu One account configured in my home's desktop. After setting up Ubuntu One, the Add and Cancel buttons appeared after Facebook's authorization. It's working now.
