The gnome-power-manager systray-applet did't react my clicks on my laptop. Later, with no message or hibernation (normally it is right), the laptop turned off while talking over VoIP. What could went wrong? Is it only the applet or a power deamon who failed? Or could it be a hardware error… --- Architecture: amd64 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.04 GnomeSessionIdleInhibited: No GnomeSessionInhibitors: None GnomeSessionSuspendInhibited: No MachineType: LENOVO 0769EPG NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia Package: gnome-power-manager 2.30.0-0ubuntu1 PackageArchitecture: amd64 ProcCmdLine: BOOT_IMAGE=/vmlinuz-2.6.32-24-generic root=/dev/mapper/hostname-root ro quiet splash nomodeset video=uvesafb:mode_option=1024x768-24,mtrr=3,scroll=ywrap ProcEnviron: PATH=(custom, no user) LANG=de_DE.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.32-24.39-generic 2.6.32.15+drm33.5 Tags: lucid Uname: Linux 2.6.32-24-generic x86_64 UserGroups: adm admin cdrom dialout fuse lpadmin netdev plugdev pulse pulse-access sambashare video dmi.bios.date: 07/29/2008 dmi.bios.vendor: LENOVO dmi.bios.version: 68ET37WW dmi.board.name: IEL10 dmi.board.vendor: LENOVO dmi.board.version: REFERENCE dmi.chassis.asset.tag: No Asset Tag dmi.chassis.type: 10 dmi.chassis.vendor: No Enclosure dmi.chassis.version: N/A dmi.modalias: dmi:bvnLENOVO:bvr68ET37WW:bd07/29/2008:svnLENOVO:pn0769EPG:pvr3000N200:rvnLENOVO:rnIEL10:rvrREFERENCE:cvnNoEnclosure:ct10:cvrN/A: dmi.product.name: 0769EPG dmi.product.version: 3000 N200 dmi.sys.vendor: LENOVO + + --- + Architecture: amd64 + DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.04 + GnomeSessionIdleInhibited: No + GnomeSessionInhibitors: None + GnomeSessionSuspendInhibited: No + MachineType: LENOVO 0769EPG + NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia + Package: gnome-power-manager 2.30.0-0ubuntu1 + PackageArchitecture: amd64 + ProcCmdLine: BOOT_IMAGE=/vmlinuz-2.6.32-24-generic root=/dev/mapper/hostname-root ro quiet splash nomodeset video=uvesafb:mode_option=1024x768-24,mtrr=3,scroll=ywrap + ProcEnviron: + PATH=(custom, no user) + LANG=de_DE.UTF-8 + SHELL=/bin/bash + ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.32-24.41-generic 2.6.32.15+drm33.5 + Tags: ubuntu-une lucid + Uname: Linux 2.6.32-24-generic x86_64 + UserGroups: adm admin cdrom dialout fuse lpadmin netdev plugdev pulse pulse-access sambashare video + dmi.bios.date: 07/29/2008 + dmi.bios.vendor: LENOVO + dmi.bios.version: 68ET37WW + dmi.board.name: IEL10 + dmi.board.vendor: LENOVO + dmi.board.version: REFERENCE + dmi.chassis.asset.tag: No Asset Tag + dmi.chassis.type: 10 + dmi.chassis.vendor: No Enclosure + dmi.chassis.version: N/A + dmi.modalias: dmi:bvnLENOVO:bvr68ET37WW:bd07/29/2008:svnLENOVO:pn0769EPG:pvr3000N200:rvnLENOVO:rnIEL10:rvrREFERENCE:cvnNoEnclosure:ct10:cvrN/A: + dmi.product.name: 0769EPG + dmi.product.version: 3000 N200 + dmi.sys.vendor: LENOVO ** Attachment added: "BootDmesg.txt" https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/bugs/386121/+attachment/1515509/+files/BootDmesg.txt -- No low-power-message and no hibernate on laptop, some time before, gnome-power-manager didn't react clicks https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/386121 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
