Juhu, everything was ok now!

Maybe the change to percentage was the solution or maybe not going
through d-bus, but directly to pm-utils. Because I tried suspend
manually through dbus and it fails:

dbus-send --print-
reply --system --dest=org.freedesktop.UPower /org/freedesktop/UPower org.freedesktop.UPower.Suspend

bash: dbus-send --print-
reply --system --dest=org.freedesktop.UPower /org/freedesktop/UPower org.freedesktop.UPower.Suspend:
No such file or directory

Same for Hibernate.
