Can you try to set up a PCL-based print queue for your printer? If this is not offered for your model, choose the "Generic PCL-6/XL printer" (driver pxlmono) or the "Generic PCL-5e printer" (driver hpijs-pcl5e). Can you print your documents through this queue?
