Thanks for your bugreport.
This problem is fixed in my local tree and the fix will be part of the
next upload.
It will show the error dialog first now and run the recovery then.
Unfortunately it will not show a progress bar after the error anymore,
just a terminal window. The problem is that the information what
packages are left to configure is currently not available easily. This
should be improved in the future.
