Turns out for the end user to fix this on their own machine, which its inelegance would almost drive them to do, they have to literally modify source code and recompile the applet. Seriously. For one boolean.
Anybody have any luck changing the boolean with ghex2 instead of going through a recompile? I've had to use ghex2 to un-cripple Compiz' genie effect before, it's a lot quicker than rebuilding a package and doesn't have nearly as many environmental dependencies. -- gnome-panel: main menu: arrow icon blemish https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/291463 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
