It seems you have 2 sound cards on your system, one being a USB device.
If you are attempting to get sound output from either card, you need to
select it from the sound preferences, located in the top panel. To do
so, do the following:

1. Click on the speaker icon in the top right hand corner of your screen, and
choose "Sound Preferences..." from the menu.
2. In the window that appears, select the "Output" tab.
3. Under "Choose a device for sound output", select the sound card you want to
use.
4. Adjust balance and output connector if necessary, found towards the bottom
of the window.
5. Either using the volume output control at the top of the window, or by
clicking the speaker icon again and adjusting the slider, adjust the volume to
suit.

Please reply back as to whether the above steps helped. If you still do
not hear sound, then we can go through some other troubleshooting steps.
