Alex, you were right. There is no such a problem in fact. I have now
tested it for both 32-bit and 64-bit Maverick LiveCD distributions. I.e.
I can use Computer Modern fonts in Inkscape. (But the other problem,
bug #640845, remains as you have also confirmed).
