My idea for switching around the APIC settings in the BIOS didn't change
anything, still not working correctly, and this is with the latest BIOS
from HP. However, I discovered that if you install the "server" kernel
image after doing the base install with "noapic" kernel option the
machine will boot correctly without any special options.
