I'm sorry, the previously-requested information wasn't really useful to
me as a developer. Could you please attach the /var/log/syslog and
/var/log/partman files from the installation attempt? If you're
installing from the desktop CD, you can just extract them from the live
session after the installer fails; if you're installing from the
alternate or server CD, you can go back to the main menu and select
"Save debug logs".
