I think that it thinks you're using DM-RAID (also known as SATA RAID or
fake RAID).  The contents of your second hard disk suggest that at one
point it was part of a RAID set, and the metadata hasn't been cleared
properly.

Try booting with the 'nodmraid' option, if you're sure you don't want to
use DM-RAID - there's an option for this on the F6 menu when booting the
CD.
