Please disregard my entry #4 As it turns out a colleague told me that lightening had hit that particular computer and destroyed the internal USB. Thus, I cannot identify any bug after upgrade. A very stupid note to Michael Lueck: There is something called usb-automount or something like that in the repositories. I take it that that might help you out until the issue is solved in a more proper way.
