@Darwin, thanks for your investigation and for making fixes available to users! You might want to look into DKMS, that's what I use when I provide test packages for HDA fixes. As for the 2.6.35 patch, I've sent an email to stable and to the [email protected] mailinglist. Let's hope they pick it up.
